Is there an applicant pool?
Yes, if we find your application interesting but have already been able to fill the position, you will receive an enquiry from us asking whether we can include you in the applicant pool.
How can I apply?
All current vacancies are available on our job portal. Here you have the opportunity to apply directly for the desired position by filling out the application form online and uploading your documents.
Have you found our job advert on an external job portal? Then you will also find the link to the associated online form there or you can apply with your application documents stored on the respective platform, provided you have a profile there.
Would you like to send us a speculative application? Then please use our specially created online form for speculative applications.
In order to save resources, we prefer applications in digital form and therefore kindly ask you to refrain from submitting applications in paper form.
Do I need a cover letter for my application?
In addition to your CV, a cover letter is important for us to find out more about your motivation behind the application. Let us know what made you decide to apply to us and what experience you already have in the relevant field. Why is the open position exactly the right next step in your career?
Even if you are just starting out in your career and have little or no practical experience to report on in your cover letter, it is important for us to know what motivated you to apply to us.
A cover letter gives you more space to express yourself than just a CV and it also gives us a more detailed impression of the person behind the application.
Why do I have to state a desired salary?
We ask for your desired salary, as we have a specific, albeit flexible, salary structure. This allows us to see in advance whether our expectations match in principle.
How long does it take until I receive a response after my application?
Depending on the vacancy and the number of applications, the response time may vary. However, we want to make the application process as easy and pleasant as possible for you and will do our best to provide you with feedback as quickly as we can.
How long does the application process take?
This varies greatly depending on the vacancy. As we sometimes want to fill several positions with one job advertisement, it may be that a process takes longer and the advertisement for the position is therefore online for longer.
Is it possible to apply for more than one position at the same time?
Of course! We are part of a group with five different companies. If another vacancy suits you, the group looks forward to receiving your application.
Can I submit a speculative application?
Yes, if there is no suitable vacancy for you, we look forward to receiving your speculative application.
How will I be informed about new vacancies?
Simply use our job alert! You will receive all jobs that match your search criteria by e-mail.
I have received a rejection, but the position is still advertised. Why is that?
We advertise certain positions more frequently or for longer periods of time. This is often because we conduct many interviews and the decision-making processes for the position are more complex.
Are there positions for working students?
Yes, we want to get to know and promote talents at an early stage. That is why we not only welcome the support of interns and legal trainees, but also hire working students. There are currently no vacancies for working students? Then send us a speculative application. We are always on the lookout for new talents.
In your cover letter, please state the department, the location, the weekly working hours with which you can support your colleagues and the remaining duration of your studies. As a working student, you will receive an attractive salary and gain practical experience by working on exciting projects. If it suits both sides, we are always happy when our working students join us directly after successfully completing their studies.
Is it possible to do an internship?
We offer various opportunities to complete an internship with us. Students are welcome to send us a speculative application for an internship. Please specify the time period, the department in which you would like to gain practical experience, the company and the location in your cover letter.
Are there positions for legal trainees?
Yes, even without a specific job advert! You are also welcome to send us a speculative application if no vacancy is currently advertised. We are always on the lookout for suitable new colleagues and are therefore happy to work with motivated legal trainees. An elective stage often results in opportunities to join us directly afterwards!
Working at FIRST PRIVACY
Do the consultants also have to travel?
A job in consulting also involves attending appointments at the client's premises. A certain amount of travelling is therefore part of the work routine and customer service. However, we try to save time and resources wherever possible – also in the interests of our clients – and hold meetings via video calls.
Is there an onboarding programme for new colleagues?
We prioritise a good familiarisation programme and all new employees receive several days of onboarding. And even afterwards, your team members will always be there to support you.
As a consultant, do I get a company mobile phone and a laptop?
In general, our consultants receive a laptop and a company mobile phone. Otherwise, employees' technical equipment depends on their area of responsibility and whether they are able to work remotely.
