FIRST PRIVACY is a leading consultancy specialized in supporting multinational companies with a wide range of expertise in all matters relating to data protection, information security and compliance.

Consulting on a global scale

Multinational companies face complex privacy challenges as they have to take into account national and international regulations regarding data transfers. With our international and multilingual team of lawyers, we focus on international and multijurisdictional data protection schemes, data ethics, whistleblowing and compliance, information security as well as privacy risk prevention. For our clients – operating in multiple different countries and continents – we always keep an eye on local laws as well as the international legal framework. In doing so, we support our clients in minimising data protection risks, building trust and preventing fines from supervisory authorities. Our customers are operating in Europe and beyond, including countries like Brazil, China, Australia, and the USA.

Our history

FIRST PRIVACY consists of two companies: In 2014, the German entity FIRST PRIVACY GmbH was founded in Bremen, building the headquarter of FIRST PRIVACY. In addition, we also maintain a site in Würzburg, Germany. To set a special focus on the Benelux region, our Dutch entity FIRST PRIVACY B.V. was founded in Amsterdam in 2019.

Part of a strong group

We are part of DSN GROUP. With its over 20 years of experience in the field, interdisciplinary teams of experts as well as a wide range of clients, DSN GROUP is the largest provider for data protection services in Germany, acting as external Data Protection Officer for more than 1500 companies and organisations. Within the group, FIRST PRIVACY focuses on the support of international clients worldwide, drawing from a large pool of knowledge – one of the perks of being a member of a strong group. FIRST PRIVACY acts as Data Protection Officer for five of the top eight food and beverage-retail companies, and has supported seven of the world's top twenty pharmaceutical companies in Germany and abroad.
